This miniature canoe actually floats and is great for a doll-sized day at the lake or beach. It’s made from foam sheets and craft sticks using a hot glue gun and sized for 6:1 fashion dolls (11.5″ tall). The finished dimensions are 18″ long x 4.5″ wide x 2.5″ tall.

Foam Sheet, 2 mm thick x 18″ long: In whatever color speaks to you for a canoe! This forms the main body of the boat.

Standard Craft Sticks, 4.5″ long x 3/8″ wide: For the two yokes across the center of the boat.

Wooden Coffee Stirrers, 7.5″ long:  To frame the outer edge of the boat rim.

Jumbo Craft Sticks, 8″ long:  For the four seats along the bottom of the boat.

Bamboo Kabob Skewer:  For the paddle handle.

Hot Glue Gun:  Holds everything together.

Scissors: To cut the foam.

Cutting Board:  For easy measurements.

Craft Mat:  Catches any debris for easy clean-up.

Ruler: Straight edge for measurement markings.

Pencil: For measurement markings.
