DIY Mini Chair Upholstery Cover [6:1 Scale for Fashion Dolls]

I wanted to dress up my DIY Mini Doll Wood Chair a bit. These upholstery covers are what came up.

Supplies:

  • Fiber Fill: To add some cushion to the chairs. I used Poly-fil.
  • Chair Cover Template (Free Download):

My Process:

First, I printed and cut out the template included above. Then I traced the outline of the template on the back of my fabric and cut the fabric along the outline.

Next, I cut two sets of Velcro tabs and adhered them to the “wings” of each fabric piece.

Then, I took a ball of fiber fill and nested it on the seat, covering it with the smaller of the two fabric pieces. I tucked the long fabric flap under the base of the seat and secured it with the Velcro tabs.

I then repeated a similar process for the back of the chair.

With that, my chair upholstery cover was complete. I really like how this turned out and hope to experiment with these kinds of crafts more in the future. Stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting, and happy crafting!
